UN Sustainable Development Goals In 2015, more than 190 world leaders committed to 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to help us all end extreme poverty, fight inequality & injustice, and fix climate change. We each have a role to play if we’re going to achieve these goals of a more prosperous, equitable, and sustainable world. The 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals represent the aspiration of the people of the United Nations for a more sustainable future. The Goals define the challenges we need to address to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global problems we face together, including those related to poverty, 17 Goal 17.
